Our Story

From Tile to Stone

From a humble tile distributor to a true turnkey stone supplier — importer, fabricator, and installer. More than 40 years later, the standard is the same: extraordinary from start to finish, and still a place you can simply walk into.

The Origin

Our story

Danny Vogia began importing tile and marble from Greece, bringing in materials most people in the area had never seen. The work was humble. The standards were not. Word spread that if you wanted it done right, you went to Stone Tech.

The Evolution

We kept getting better at what we do.

Tile led to slabs. Slabs led to bringing fabrication in-house, so nothing left our floor until it met our standard. Fabrication led to installation, so one team could carry a project from raw stone to finished room.

More than 40 years later, we import directly from Italy, Brazil, and Greece — still sourcing from the same country where it all began — with quality control checked at every step of the process, not just when a slab arrives.

Importer. Supplier. Fabricator. Installer. Extraordinary, start to finish.

What It Means For You

We never stopped being the place you can walk into.

We’ve grown into a company designers, contractors, and builders across the Northeast rely on for their most demanding work. But we’ve never forgotten who we started serving. Whether you’re replacing a single vanity or building a new home, you get the same team, the same rare materials, and the same one-on-one attention the professionals count on.

You don’t need an appointment, an insider connection, or any knowledge of stone. Just walk in.

The Facility

One of the great stone destinations on the East Coast.

Our Trenton facility spans 65,000 square feet on a two-acre site — showroom, fabrication floor, and indoor slab storage, all in one place. On the floor at any time: roughly 15,000 slabs across 500 colors, the largest in-house selection on the East Coast. It’s not a catalog. It’s a place to walk the aisles, compare full slabs, and see variation a small sample never shows.

Behind the showroom is a fabrication operation built for precision: a 12K-resolution slab scanner, 3D laser templating, 5-axis waterjet cutting, top-tier CNC machinery, in-line polishing, and a mirrored workshop for exact-match seams — cut using seaming technology and software developed in-house, unique to Stone Tech. Before anything is cut, most projects get a full 3D digital rendering — so you see the finished result before we ever touch the stone.
