1. Introduction
This policy explains what personal information Stone Tech Fabrication collects through our website, how we use it, and the choices you have. “Stone Tech,” “we,” and “us” mean Stone Tech Fabrication, Inc., 930 New York Ave, Trenton, NJ 08638.
It covers our website at [stonetechfabrication.com], including the project form, the AI Visualizer, and any call, email, or visit that starts from the site. It does not cover third-party websites we link to.
Effective date: October 1, 2026. By using the site, you accept this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you give us and information our site collects automatically.
Information you provide
- Project form: your name, email, phone number, whether you are a homeowner, trade professional, or business, the type of project, and anything you write in the message box.
- Calls, emails, and visits: details you share when you contact or visit us, such as your project, measurements, or material choices.
- AI Visualizer: photos and text you submit (see Section 3).
- Social media: if you message or tag us on Instagram or another platform, we see what you send, under that platform’s own privacy terms.
Information collected automatically
- Device and browser type, operating system, and screen size
- IP address and approximate location (city or region, not exact address)
- Pages viewed, links clicked, referring site, and time spent
- Whether you tapped to call or got directions
We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, payment card numbers, or other sensitive financial or health information through this site. Please do not send them in the project form.
3. AI Visualizer
The AI Visualizer lets you upload a photo of your space and see how stone materials might look in it. Because it uses photos and artificial intelligence, we explain it separately.
What we collect
- The photos you upload, and any text you enter to describe what you want
- The images the tool generates for you
- The materials and options you select
- If you choose optional features: your email address, chat or quote messages, and any photos you attach to them (see below)
- Technical data such as device type, timestamps, and a random session ID
Photos can contain more than you expect: people, faces, house numbers, street views, documents, and location data embedded in the file. The tool automatically rejects photos that appear to contain people, and our provider removes embedded location data (EXIF and GPS) from every upload before processing. Even so, please only upload photos of the space itself, and avoid license plates, personal documents, or anything you would not want processed.
How it is processed
To create your images, your uploads and text prompts are sent to a third-party AI service provider, Visualiseo, that processes them on our behalf from the United Kingdom. It sends your photo to AI providers to create the image, including Google and OpenAI, some of which are based in the United States. Visualiseo states that it never uses your photos to train AI models, and that its AI providers are contractually barred from doing so. We do not train any models on your content either.
Before you upload, the tool shows a notice that you must accept to continue.
How long we keep it
We do not keep copies of your uploaded photo or the generated image, and neither does Visualiseo. Its AI provider holds your photo briefly and deletes it automatically within 48 hours. If you choose “Save on this device,” your recent renders stay in your own browser until you clear it, and are never sent to us. Optional features are covered below.
How we use your Visualizer results
- To show you your results in the tool
- To keep the tool secure, prevent abuse (a short-lived counter limits renders per visitor and is deleted within 48 hours), fix errors, and improve how it works
- If you choose “Email me this render”: Visualiseo emails you the render, and we receive your email address, the render, and the product shown so we can follow up. Marketing from us is a separate opt-in.
- If you choose “Share publicly”: your render is added to public galleries, and you can withdraw consent using the link shown when you publish.
- If you use the chat or quote assistant: your messages are sent to Google to generate replies, and we store the conversation, any contact details, and photos you attach so we can respond.
- Other than the gallery option above, we will not publish your photos or images in our marketing without your written permission
What the images are, and are not
Visualizer images are AI-generated illustrations. Colors, veining, scale, seams, and edge details may not match the real stone. They are not a quote, a guarantee, a template, or a measurement. Always view full slabs in person before you choose.
Use of the tool is optional. You can submit a project request without using it.
4. How we use information
We use your information to respond to you, deliver our services, and run and improve the site.
- Reply to project requests, schedule visits, prepare quotes, and manage your project
- Provide the AI Visualizer and show you your results
- Send service messages, such as confirmations and scheduling updates
- Send marketing emails or texts, only where you have agreed and with an easy way to opt out
- Understand how the site is used and fix problems
- Protect the site, prevent spam and fraud, and enforce our terms
- Meet legal and accounting obligations
We do not use your information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use retargeting or share it for third-party advertising. We share it only in these cases:
- Service providers that work for us, such as website hosting, email and form handling, analytics, scheduling, and Visualiseo, which runs the AI Visualizer. Visualiseo uses its own providers, including Google and OpenAI, some based in the United States. They may use your information only to perform services for us.
- Our team and installers who need it to prepare, fabricate, or install your project.
- Legal and safety reasons, such as responding to a subpoena or court order, protecting our rights, or preventing fraud or harm.
- Business changes, such as a merger, sale, or financing, in which case the information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
- With your direction or consent, for example when you ask us to share plans with your designer or builder.
6. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and to understand how it is used. A cookie is a small file stored on your device.
- Essential cookies and browser storage keep forms and security features working. The AI Visualizer also stores a notice-accepted flag in your browser for 7 days and, only if you choose “Save on this device,” your recent renders until you clear them.
- Analytics cookies show us which pages people visit and how they find us. We use Google Analytics with its default settings, which may collect your IP address and device data.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add-on from Google. We do not currently show a cookie banner, so by using the site you agree to the cookies described here.
7. Data retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, or as the law requires.
- Project inquiries and customer records: kept indefinitely, unless you ask us to delete them (see Section 8).
- AI Visualizer photos and images: we do not store them, and the AI provider deletes your photo within 48 hours (see Section 3).
- Marketing contacts: kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
- Analytics data: kept under Google Analytics’ default retention settings.
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and trusted providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.
8. Your choices and privacy rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and you can opt out of marketing at any time.
Depending on where you live, such as New Jersey and other states with privacy laws, you may also have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and share, and get a copy of it
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information (for AI Visualizer content, see Section 3)
- Opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, and profiling (we do neither)
- Not be treated unfairly for exercising these rights
How to make a request: email info@stonetechmarble.com or call (609) 984-8818. We may need to verify your identity first. We will respond within the time the law allows, typically 45 days. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and you may contact your state attorney general.
Marketing choices: use the unsubscribe link in any email, or reply STOP to any text. You will still receive service messages about active projects.
9. Children, links, changes, and contact
Children. Our site is for adults planning stone projects and is not directed to children under 13. The AI Visualizer is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect children’s information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links. Our site links to other sites, such as Instagram and Google Maps. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please review their policies.
Changes. We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new effective date, and for material changes we will give more prominent notice.
